Now  in this post I will share, harry potter and the half blood prince movie review. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth film in the Harry Potter saga. The director of the film was again David Yates, director of the previous feature film and the two remaining films in the series. It was released worldwide on July 15, 2009. The film is an adaptation of the homonymous novel by British writer J. K. Rowling that had been published in 2005. The film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Cinematography.

Set between the genres of fantasy, drama and adventure, the film continues the story of the wizard Harry Potter after the events of the previous feature film. The protagonist returns to his school to attend his sixth year in the middle of attacks perpetrated by Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters that plague England. Due to the growing threat from Voldemort and his kind.

Albus Dumbledore decides to give Harry private lessons and thus prepare him for the final confrontation with the dark side. Some have pointed out parallels between the climate of terror experienced by the magical community in the film and the situation in the real world.5

The film was scripted by Steve Kloves, who took over from him after not having participated in the making of the predecessor film. The adaptation focused much more on the subplots of the novel - such as the exploration of the characters' love interests - leaving other issues present in the book in a secondary place.

Some critics opined that this approach narrowed down the most interesting parts of the film that concerned the mystery of the horcruxes and Voldemort's past. Other stunt performers on this film include production designer Stuart Craig, whose work on the series has received much praise, and David Yates' regular collaborator, composer Nicholas Hooper. The soundtrack he composed for the film received a Grammy Award nomination.6

The film was originally going to be released on November 21, 2008, but it ran until July 17, 2009 by decision of the Warner Bros. company, producer of the feature film, still missing a few days for the world premiere, the production company again modified the release date, moving it to July 15, 2009.

The first change was due to the fact that the writers' strike that took place in early 2008 had delayed several high-impact projects at the box office whose premiere the company had planned for 2009; Given this situation –and the great collection of another Warner Bros. film in 2008.

The Dark Knight–, the production company decided to move the premiere of The Half-Blood Prince to the following year to ensure the collection of that year. This decision generated the discontent of many of the followers of the saga but, nevertheless, the film managed to raise enough to be among the most successful films of the year.

In Spanish-speaking countries, the title of the film was altered to coincide with the one that the Salamandra publishing house had titled the novel for the Spanish edition. The original - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which would translate as "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" - was translated as Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Also in some Latin American countries, such as Argentina, the distribution, premiere and proceeds of films were affected by the H1N1 flu epidemic.

David Yates repeats as director after directing the fifth installment, while David Heyman and David Barron are the producers. The script is by Steve Kloves. Filming began on September 17, 2007 and ended on May 17, 2008. Like previous films, it was released in both mainstream and IMAX 3-D theaters at the same time.

Lord Voldemort puts both the Muggle and wizarding worlds in a bind by abducting wandmaker Garrick Ollivander from Diagon Alley and destroying the Millennium Bridge. The Malfoy family is in disgrace when Lucius is arrested and sent to Azkaban for being involved with the Death Eaters.

Voldemort chooses Draco instead to carry out a secret mission at Hogwarts. Draco's mother Narcissa and her aunt Bellatrix Lestrange seek the help of Severus Snape, who claims to have been acting like a mole within the Order of the Phoenix the entire time. Snape takes an Unbreakable Oath with Narcissa to protect Draco and fulfill the task if he fails.

Harry Potter, now 16, accompanies Albus Dumbledore from Surbiton to the village of Budleigh Babberton to visit former potions professor Horace Slughorn. The latter, who has been in hiding the entire time, agrees to return to Hogwarts for teaching. Dumbledore then takes Harry to the Burrow, where Harry meets up with his best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

The three visit Fred and George Weasley's new prank shop in Diagon Alley and see Draco entering Knockturn Alley with a group of Death Eaters, including Fenrir Greyback. Harry believes that Voldemort has turned Draco into a Death Eater, but Ron and Hermione are skeptical about it. On the Hogwarts Express, Harry hides in the Slytherin carriage using his Invisibility Cloak, but Malfoy discovers him and petrifies him. Harry is found and saved by Luna Lovegood.

At Hogwarts, Harry and Ron borrow textbooks for Slughorn's potions class; Harry retains for himself a copy that turns out to be full of notes and useful spells left by the "Half-Blood Prince", and uses it to stand out in class and impress Slughorn, earning a liquid luck potion for it.

Ron becomes guardian of the Gryffindor Quidditch team and forms a romantic relationship with Lavender Brown, leaving Hermione upset. Harry comforts Hermione and admits that she now has feelings for Ron's younger sister, Ginny Weasley.

Harry spends the Christmas holidays with the Weasley family. On Christmas Eve, Harry discusses his suspicions of Draco to the Order of the Phoenix. Suspicion of him is dismissed, but Arthur Weasley later tells Harry privately that the Malfoys may have been interested in a Vanishing Closet. Bellatrix and Greyback attack and burn down the Burrow, dragging Harry into a battle in which he saves Ginny before the Order arrived and fought the Death Eaters.

At Hogwarts, Dumbledore reveals to Harry that Slughorn possesses a memory of Voldemort that he desperately needs; he asks Harry to confront Slughorn and retrieve the real memory, after receiving an altered version that made him appear as if Slughorn knew nothing. Harry can't convince Slughorn.
After Ron accidentally ingests a love potion intended for Harry, he heals him with the help of Slughorn. The trio celebrate with mead that Slughorn intended to gift Dumbledore. The mead poisons Ron, and Harry is forced to save his life after Slughorn falters. Ron mutters Hermione's name as she recovers in the infirmary, causing Lavender to end her relationship with hers.

Harry confronts Draco about the mead and a cursed necklace, and the two begin a duel with each other. Harry uses a curse from the Half-Blood Prince's potions book to severely injure Malfoy, who is rescued and healed by Snape. Fearing that the book is filled with more dark magic, Ginny and Harry hide it in the Room of Requirement and share their first kiss.

Harry decides to use his liquid luck potion to convince Slughorn to hand over the memory that Dumbledore needs. Harry sees the memory with Dumbledore and learns that Voldemort wanted information to create horcruxes, magical items that can contain parts of a wizard's soul and make them immortal.

Dumbledore concludes that Voldemort successfully divided his soul into seven parts creating six horcruxes, two of which have already been destroyed: Tom Riddle's diary by Harry and Marvolo Gaunt's ring by himself. The two travel to a cave by the sea where Harry helps Dumbledore drink a potion that hides another horcrux, the Slytherin locket.

A weakened Dumbledore defends himself alongside Harry from the inferi and appears again at Hogwarts. Bellatrix, Greyback, and other Death Eaters enter Hogwarts with Draco's help through the Evanescent Closet in the Room of Requirement that Draco managed to connect to the one he had been working with in Knockturn Alley.

Dumbledore tells Harry to talk to Snape and no one else. Draco arrives at the Astronomy Tower and disarms Dumbledore revealing that he has been chosen by Voldemort to kill the headmaster. Harry is hiding under them. Snape arrives and casts the killing curse on Dumbledore as Draco is unable to do so, thus killing the headmaster. He later overpowers Harry and reveals himself to be the Half-Blood Prince before escaping with the Death Eaters.

Harry returns to Hogwarts, where the students and staff mourn Dumbledore's death. He later reveals to Ron and Hermione that the horcrux locket was a fake, as it contains a message from "R.A.B" indicating that he has stolen the real horcrux with the intention of destroying it. When they determine to give up their last year at Hogwarts, Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to track down the remaining Horcruxes together.
